How to install MIDI into Superior Drummer

Our loops will appear in the USER LIBRARIES section of the browser window. And you can preview the grooves in the Superior Groove Browser window. Our midi loops are mapped to match Superior EXACTLY. We do NOT record in General MIDI! We convert the detailed recordings to GM. Our grooves are recorded with multiple hi-hats like shank hits, tip hits and various open hat hits so you get the full capabilities of Superior. We can remap your purchase free of charge if you provide the mapping. Please check out our MIDI Formats PDF or contact us if you need midi loops in a specific format.

Groove Monkee supports over a dozen midi mappings and formats. In fact, we still include loops mapped for the older "Drumkit from Hell" drum samples! We've supported Toontrack's Superior Drummer since version 1. Is Superior Drummer a purely add-on application (plug-in for another application), or does it install as a stand-alone with the ability to plug-in or interact with other applications?ĭefinitely new to DAW, VST and MIDI so I figure this is important that I start with obtaining a clear understanding of how that all inter acts. Of course something is wrong with the site and I am not able to log onto the support section or even register to get access. Initially I though they were talking about with Windows or Mac as the host application, but know I am wondering. Then the term "host application" caught my attention. Reading through the scant install instructions, it did say to install the 32bit version is the 64bit didn't work. Even though everything seem to finish correctly, I ran that install again with the same results. Did not see anything on my machine regarding a application icon anywhere. I have Windows 7 64bit and ran the complete install of both the 64bit version and the complete sound library installation (5 DVDs). Just received my Superior Drummer 2.0 package and am exited to trigger these with my TD30K kit.
